I stayed up a bit late last night. Not really late late but later than I wanted with the time change and all. So when the alarm rang this morning I hit the snooze button twice and got up almost 30 minutes later than I had planned. Ooooops. Luckily I normally get up with enough extra time on Sunday mornings so all that happened was that I didn't have as much 'alone' and relaxation time before getting the girls up.
I got them fed and dressed for church and then woke up L. It took him a bit longer to get ready so we left the house a bit late. Good thing that we live just a few blocks from church. Luke hadn't gone with us in quiet some time so it was wonderful that he joined us today.
A couple weeks ago he had started to go to choir practice. He had tried before but because of his social anxiety it didn't last long and he never actually sang with the choir during the service. Until today! I was so proud of him. While this might not be a huge thing for most people, it is for him.
Over the past couple weeks he has made so much progress. It is encouraging to see him do all these things again.
